Review

HDDlife is a free software developed by BinarySense, Ltd. This software allows you to track all the information related to your hard disk drive. HDDlife plug-in for Google Desktop 1.1, as the name suggests, is the plugin for Google Desktop that is based on HDDlife software. It displays information about the health of your hard disks right in the side panel of Google Desktop. It shows a number of useful information such as Hard Disk Temperature, Health of your Hard Disk, Space occupied & space remaining on the Hard Disk etc. It also alerts you whenever the temperature of the Hard Disk Drive reaches it maximum. You can also set temperature units and the cutoff hard disk temperatures. It also indicates the read/write activity for one disk or for all disks in the system. If your drive overheats by just 10°C, its safety becomes compromised. With this plugin installed, you will be able to monitor the temperature of your hard disks and prevent data loss caused by overheating. Go and download it right now. I will recommend this to everyone.
